Poem Earth Year 2000 - original version 1980 revised in 2003

Earth year 2000 is fast approaching,

People abound, pushing animals around,

Making room for themselves and paving over the ground,

Balance is coming due. - Will mankind be through?

Time waits for no one.

Fosssilized bones, decaying stones, oxygen loans,

groaning moans, Karmic pay zones. - FLASH - Nuclear holocaust.

Oh please, let's not go down that path; so sad if we do,

so dark, so bad, makes me mad!! Makes me mad!!…
