It seems that their are much of the population that are scared to death of any kind of change, even when that change is urgent and necessary!
That goes double for politicians that are fearful that their constituents wont accept the necessity of going in a new direction!
Most people have to be hit very hard with a hammer to make an impression on their thick skulls!
Our American revolution like all popular revolutions were fought for and brought to a successful conclusion by a small minority of the general population. It was not until victory appeared imminent that the general population rallied in favor of the revolutionaries!
We have to be that hammer and not ease up on slamming that hammer on the numb skulls that cannot seem to wake up from their fear of necessary change!
