About me: I am in the Grand Rapids area for the summer but will return to Holland, MI in the fall. I absolutely despise Bush and have been trying to gather signatures for impeachment and am honestly wondering if they have any impact(the particular petitions that I'm using). I've been tearing my hair out trying to find people who will hold a petition drive w/ me and come up w/ nothing at this point. If anyone can help out here that'd be great. I'm also interested in impeaching Cheney and Gonzales.

Interests: I'm a thrill seeker and like to stay physically active and spend time w/ my children. I like movies of all sorts but not nearly the amount of horror I use to watch. I like reading up on current events but am going to college at the moment and don't have nearly as much time as I'd like for reading and being politically active.

Books: I enjoy my college textbooks which is about all I have time for at the moment. I suppose this is because it is core curriculum and not anything too complicated for the moment.

Movies: I loved 300, Pan's Labyrinth, Pirates of the Caribbean, Memoirs of a Geisha, Curse of the Golden Flower, Troy, Reservoir Dogs, Lord of the Rings, and all kinds of other movies but am not typically into gratuitous violence.

Heroes and influences: My mom, brother, sister, and my cousin. Not too many of the people I know are all that noble in actions. They are sadly lacking in motivation.

If you want media coverage that tells the truth you need to find it and air it yourself. Don't expect the commercial media to do anything close to the truth, ever!

It's not so hard where I come from to find people who hate him- but there are some who still think that you are pro-terrorist if you don't back the president, which really makes me sick. Even though nearly everyone I know hates him and would love to see him removed from office, it's hard to get people to step outside of themselves and their busy lives to get them to actually do something about it. I think many people just don't know what to do or think they can't possibly make a difference because they feel powerless.
