On my site, I let the music and videos, mostly from the last war, spell out my feelings about this war -- and of our current political condition. Maybe you could add a little flair to your site as well?

Hi Zoe, Your right politicians do seem to only care about the next election.We should fight the good fight by doing what they choose not to do or won't do. I believe we should find an issue or cause and fight to make positive change.
